  • Do I need a referral?
    No, a referral for privately paid therapy is not required. Just reach out via our contact page to discuss the next steps.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    We ask that you provide 48 hours notice for cancellations. After this time a 50% session rate cancellation fee will apply. Full fee will be charged for failure to attend without notice.
  • Are sessions confidential?
    In short, yes. Unless you are at risk to yourself or another person, or I am legally obligated to via a subpoena. I take notes on the record keeping system, Halaxy. Your privacy and confidentiality is of utmost importance. We will go through this is detail in the first session.
  • Can I claim on Medicare or Private Health Insurance?
    No, at this stage we do not offer rebates via Medicare or Private Health Insurance.
  • What qualification do you have?
    Bachelor of Social Work with Honours. This is a 4 year degree. I have also completed further training in a number of treatment modalities listed on the 'Home' page on the website.
  • Are you a psychologist?
    No, I am a social worker who has worked in the mental health field since 2013. A social worker and a psychologist have different undergraduate degrees. Both can provide psychological therapies in a range of modalities depending on their post graduate training and professional development. All mental health professionals will have a difference lense depending on their ongoing professional development, training, life experience and interests.
  • What payment methods are available?
    As I am a small business I am currently only taking bank transfers and cash.
